Importance of Humour

"Laugh and the whole world laughs with you; snore and you sleep alone,"is the saying of Anthony Burgess.
Mahatma Gandhi once said, "If I had no sense of humour, I would long ago have committed suicide." For a conducive teaching-learning situation,it is imperative that there should be a place for humour. A ready-witted teacher with an abundant sense of humour,is student-friendly, than one who is moody and morose. A Person can be more effective and successful by using the tools of humour than the weapons of power.
